Our client, a scale-up true innovator and shaper of 5G AI enabled Containerised & Open RAN Software solutions has a brand-new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to lead technical sales engagement activities. Driven by investment, a strong list of reference deployments, an established partner channel and growing demand in European large enterprise SA Private 5G markets, this is a rare influential opportunity to take ownership and lead sales engagement activities.

Requirements

 

To Succeed in this Business Development Manager role, you will have:


  • Experience and technical knowledge of Open RAN technologies, preferably gained from 4G or 5G Private Networks applications into enterprise markets though pure Service Provider experience of interest too
  • 3+ years’ experience in customer facing sales engagement roles; Pre-sales, Business Development, Sales, Partner Management, Solution Architect/Consultant etc. 
  • Experience of managing RFP / RFQ responses, pricing, and supporting successful sales closure essential.
  • Experience of supporting & driving the channel, Sis, partners etc. throughout a sales process desirable but not essential.
  • High level of comfort with technology and its development 
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills 

  


Working with technology ecosystem, SI partners and direct, you will be managing and supporting the qualification, solution definition and close of Private 5G opportunities within a broad range of large industry verticals; including but not limited to Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Healthcare, Logistics, Automotive, Smart Cities …. Responsibilities in a scale up will be broad and varied and offer a great opportunity for the right individual to define their own role and place in the company. With success, there is realistic path to grow and lead a team.
