Excellent opportunity to join a very well-funded “scale-up” provider of innovative XaaS 5G Network Services and Solutions, delivering and managing the demands of 5G met by Mobile Operators, Smart Cities, Enterprise and Private 5G requirements. This is a brand-new role within a growing commercial team, offering an unrivalled opportunity to shape customer engagements, influence and make an impact. The diverse customer base, broad end to end network and cloud technologies and technology partner eco-system ensures variety and exposure.

Requirements

 

 

To succeed in this Lead Solution / Head of Solutions role, you will have:



  • Five years working in a similar technical leadership role
  • Experience of working within start-up business environment beneficial
  • Strong understanding of UK mobile carriers’ environment, 4G/5G services, architecture, functions, process etc.
  • Strong 4G and 5G RAN technology experience, preferably with experience of OpenRAN, ORAN, vRAN and/or Private 4G / 4G networks.
  • End to end network experience desirable, including 3GPP RAN and Core features and functions, IP networking knowledge, and an understanding of backhaul e.g. fibre, ethernet and microwave
  • Understanding of server environments and virtual machines.
  • An understanding of UK spectrum allocation and usage, and ability to direct spectrum licensing activities beneficial but not essential





The Job

The Solution team are responsible for the delivery of XaaS infrastructure solutions, responsibilities include:


  • Responsible for all technical aspects of Solutions deployed globally
  • Management and direction of the technical solutions team
  • Representation in global technical discussions with MNOs, Cities and Enterprises and partners
  • Support Business Development and Sales with technical expertise, solutions advice, and product/technology demonstrations/PoC’s
  • Support Operations team with expertise, direction, and troubleshooting
  • Primary liaison with MNOs, industry bodies and other forum/ industry organisations
  • Provide key customer (MNO & enterprise) technical feedback into product management groups / roadmaps
